Under the kind sponsorship of the university president, Professor Habib Abdullah bin Muhammad Baharoon, Al-Ahgaff University arranged a celebration of the Isra and Mi'raj in Habib Muhammad bin Abdulrahman Baharoon Mosque on Sunday evening, January 26, the night of Rajab 27.

Following the recital of verses from the Holy Quran and the Isra and Mi'raj book from Sahih Al-Bukhari, the celebration session began with sermons and reminders from some university faculty members.

Then, His Eminence, Professor Abdullah bin Muhammad Baharoon, President of Al-Ahgaff University, delivered a speech on this blessed occasion in which he spoke about the Muslim human being’s submission to the miracle of Isra and Mi’raj and belief in what our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, brought with a faith that is not mixed with doubt, and maintaining the performance of the prayers that Allah has imposed on us. He also explained that a person may not realize what others realize, so he should not make the reason for his lack of realization a reason for depriving him of the great good and abundant giving, because despite the vastness of this universe for all creatures, there are worlds that we do not encompass with knowledge, and this matter requires absolute submission, and the truth of this submission appears in the perfection of faith in Allah.

Then His Eminence, Al-Habib, concluded his speech with supplication and Al-Fatihah.

The celebration was attended by a number of faculty members at the university, students, and incoming students from Asian and African communities studying at Al-Ahgaff University.
