The delegation of Al-Ahgaff University continues its program in visiting the Republic of Somalia and meeting with several of representatives of universities and institutes in Mogadishu.

The delegation, which included university faculty member Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Al-Batati and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences Mr. Hamza Abdullah Baharoon, learnt about various programs and activities carried out by these educational establishments, as well as the extent of the maximum benefit and experience sharing with Al-Ahgaff University.

The delegation visited Taha University and was welcomed by Dr. Tahir Ahmed Hassan, Vice President of the University, and Muhammad Ahmed Hassan, Dean of the College of Sharia and Law, and reviewed the progress of studies at the university and learn about its programs.

Additionally, the delegation from Al-Ahgaff University signed a memorandum of partnership with the University of Konin, whose faculty comprises several instructors who graduated from Al-Ahgaff University, a group of professors led by the university's vice president, Dr. Youssef Osman Mahmoud, and a faculty member, Mr. Bashir Nour Ali.

This visit, which strengthens the academic collaboration atmosphere and aims to develop it in a way that benefits the two universities in the future, was warmly received by University of Konin administrators.

Al-Tanwir Institute was another stop for the delegation of Al-Ahgaff University, where they met with students and discussed a number of important topics and the study mechanism at the institute. The delegation gave a lecture to the students that was enriched with good information.

Al-Ahgaff University's delegation also paid a visit to the Maqasid Center for Research and Studies, where they were welcomed by the center's head and deputy head, a member of the House of Representatives. The head of the center heard a brief description of Al-Ahgaff University from the university delegation, and the delegation was informed about the center's conferences. In response, the director of the Maqasid Center commended Al-Ahgaff University's educational function and expressed his desire to see how the university's outputs will affect its graduates on a global scale.

They were accompanied from Imam Al-Shafi'i University by Dr. Abdul Qader Sheikh Ismail bin Sheikh Muhammad Farah, the president of the university.
