Third-year students from the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science at Al-Ahgaff University visit Sonod Company for Business Solutions and Information Technology

On Tuesday, February 11, third-year information technology majors from Al-Ahgaff University's Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, escorted by the faculty dean, Dr. Hamza Al-Eidaros, visited Sonod Company for Business Solutions and Information Technology.

Engineer Rashad Balfaqeeh, the company's general manager, and his team welcomed them. They conveyed their gratitude for the visit, reaffirmed their commitment to working with university and institute students, and offered all the facilities they needed to help them with their studies, which helps them get a job and develop their skills in real-world situations.

The students toured the company's departments, listening to explanations from the technical team about key projects and services provided, the nature of work, and answers to students' questions and inquiries. The students expressed their admiration for the technological advancements they witnessed amidst the information revolution that is keeping pace with the world.

"These field visits are part of the faculty's vision and strategic plan aimed at strengthening relationships with software companies and helping students become familiar with the practical work environment," said Dr. Hamza Al-Eidaros, dean of the faculty. He also underlined the significance of bridging the gap between theoretical education and practical business practices, and he thanked the university presidency for its support, assistance, and focus on helping students connect the dots between theory and practice.

The faculty's assistant teaching staff members, Mr. Omar Bahakim and Hussein Baharoon, accompanied them on the visit.
