On Tuesday, November 17, 2020, a welcoming session was held for first-level students from the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Sciences majoring in IT.

The faculty dean, Dr. Hassan Abdulmutallab Muqbil, the faculty registrar, Mr. Bassam Khamis Al-Tamimi, the director of the training department at Hadramout Research Center, and the director of the activities department, Mr. Mohamed Salem Al-Bouri attended the session.

At the outset, the Dean welcomed the students and thanked them for choosing Al-Ahgaff University and talked about the excellent university experience that the university offers, and talked about the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, its importance and the extent of its impact on the market. He added that the staff in the faculty is famed for competence and that the faculty will provide its full capacity to help students throughout their academic years.

Then the faculty registrar spoke about the university system in effect in terms of attendance, absence, exams, dismissal, repetition, cheating, failure, rates and others.

Then the director of the training department at Hadramout Research Center and the director of activities at the university talked about the English language proficiency program and its importance to the students. He also talked about the opening of registration in the student activities committees for those who wish to join them according to their type, and it is an opportunity for the students to get out of the atmosphere of study and share their interests in the announced activities.
