On Monday 17^th October, the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering held a lecture entitled "Data Science and its Applications in the Labor Market", presented by the trainer, Dr. Muhammad Omar Al-Sayouni, through the Zoom program.

The lecture, which was held for the fourth-level students, opened with a speech from the head of the IT department, Dr. Muhammad Mubarak Wahdeen, in which he welcomed the students and urged them to benefit from the lecture and to listen well because of the importance of this lecture for graduates and those entering the labor market.

The trainer talked about the importance of Data Science and its most important applications for the purpose of connecting students to the labor market.

At the end of the lecture, questions were received from the participating students.

The head of the department, Dr. Muhammad Mubarak Wahdeen, thanked the trainer, Dr. Muhammad Omar Al-Sayouni, for his efforts in making the lecture a success and providing the opportunity to share his experience with the students.

The faculty aims to link the concepts that have been taught in the department to the labor market, and to inform the students of the latest technologies in these subjects, and announced the department’s intention to host external lecturers in other subjects to add life and update the subjects taught in the department.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Muhammad Al-Sayouni is a graduate of Al-Ahgaff University, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, and is now an assistant professor at Hafr Al-Batin University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
