Al-Ahgaff University commenced the second semester of the academic year 2018-2019, where teaching started in all its faculties in its branches in Mukalla and Tarim in the faculties of Sharia and Law, Administration and Economics, Computer Engineering and Science, College of Girls and Post-Graduate School.

For his part, Vice-Chancellor of Al-Ahgaff University, Dr. Sadiq Omar Maknoun, praised the efforts made by the deans of the colleges, their deputies, heads of departments and all the staff of the university in preparation for the second semester, stressing the university's progress and continuity of excellence and academic success at the local and regional levels through providing the latest scientific curricula and highly qualified and experienced teaching staff.

Maknoun also urged his students to take care of the scientific achievement of the highest levels of education and to make maximum use of the expertise and potential of their teachers to be a good building block that contributes to the development and renaissance of the country and the building of the bright future

It is noteworthy that Al-Ahgaff University is considered the first civil university in Hadramout to provide free university education, and hosts hundreds of students from other cities in Yemen, East Asia and Africa studying in various disciplines.
