Prof. Dr. Sadiq Omar Maknoon, Vice Chancellor of Al-Ahgaff University, and Mr. Mohamed Mubarak bin Dehri, President of the Yemeni Community in Africa and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hadramout Research Center at Al-Ahgaff University, and founder of "Hadrami Diaspora" website, visited the office of Hadramout University's Chancellor Dr. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash. During the meeting they discussed potentials of mutual cooperation between the University of Al-Ahgaff and the University of Hadramout and the prominent Hadrami figures in the diaspora.

The Vice-Chancellor of Al-Ahgaff University expressed congratulations to the University of Hadramout on the occasion of taking over the functions of the last session held in Cairo of the Association of Arab universities and was briefed on the developments and success achieved by Hadramout University, locally and abroad, and discussed ways of cooperation between the two universities.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Sadiq Maknoon, Vice Chancellor of Al-Ahgaff University, and Mr. Mohamed Mubarak bin Dehri, President of the Yemeni Community in Africa and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hadramout Research Center at Al-Ahgaff University, presented to the University of Hadramout and the Chancellor of the University Dr. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash a number of scientific books entitled " Ingrams, Hadramout and Diaspora) published by the Hadramout Research Center.
