The University of Al-Ahgaff held on Thursday 10 Rabi Awwal 1441 Hijri 7^th November 2019 the Prophet's Birthday celebration. It was held under the auspices of Professor / Abdullah Mohammed Baharoon Chancellor of the University.

The biography of the beloved Prophet (PBUH) was read, and then Prof. Abdullah spoke about the importance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday that stems from the importance of the Prophet as he is the most important person in universe, and the Arabs never heard a lie from the Prophet (PBUH) and the evidence that they were calling him "Al-Amin" (the faithful). They used to put their trusts and precious money with him as a deposit.

Prof. Abdullah talked about the ideas promoted among the Muslims which are incompatible with the beliefs established by the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him such as that there is no difference between those who believe and those who do not and other atheistic ideas. Unfortunately, some Muslims accept such ideas and do not know that if they believe them in their hearts they have gone out of Islam.

He concluded by saying: There is no escape except by following the Prophet peace be upon him. Our deeds of doing or stopping doing things should be based on the instructions of the Messenger of God.

After the ending the celebration of the "Mawled", they had dinner and Samar.

The celebration attended by University staff, students and guests from outside the university.
