On the morning of Tuesday, August 10, the first founding meeting of the Alumni Affairs Unit was held at the university chancellery; in the presence of the unit’s representative, Dr. Hashem Alawi Muqaibel, and the unit members, representatives of the faculties, Mr. Ahmed Al-Tamimi, the representative of the Faculty of Administration and Economics, and Mr. Mohsen Bassem, the representative of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Buri, the representative of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

During the meeting, a number of important topics related to the organizational and structural aspect of the unit were discussed, in addition to publicizing the unity among graduates and university employees and linking the university with its graduates in various developmental, cultural and economic fields.
