Under the patronage of the Chancellor of the University, Prof. Abdullah Muhammad Baharoun, a workshop was held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Kuwait Electronic Library, headed by the university, under the title "Writing Scientific Theses and Dissertations", organized by the Quality and Development Unit at the university, presented by the trainer Dr. Salem Faraj Bamasoud, Head of the Scientific Research Unit at Hadhramaut University.

The workshop discussed the mechanisms adopted in writing scientific theses, their conditions and standards, in line with the approved international standards.

The workshop came out with two proposals in Arabic and English, which will be adopted in all scientific theses and Dissertations that are discussed in the faculties of the university.

At the end of the workshop, the Director of the Development and Quality Unit, Dr. Ahmed Saleh Khored, thanked the trainer, Dr. Salem Faraj Bamasoud, for his valuable efforts in making the workshop a success, and he especially thanked the University Chancellory represented by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Sadeq Omar Maknoon.

The workshop was attended by the deans of the faculties and a number of participants in the faculties, and the meeting was broadcast via zoom program for the participants from the Faculty of Sharia and Law in Tarim to participate in the workshop.
