Dr. Sadeq Omar Maknoon, Vice Chancellor of Al-Ahgaff University, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Dr. Abdullah Awadh bin Sumait, received on Saturday at the building of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Al-Ahgaff University, a delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research headed by Prof. Dr. Khaled Omar Basleem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for the Educational Affairs Sector, and Dr. Khaled Qaed Shaafal, Director General of Private Higher Education Institutions, and Mr. Mustafa Al Shaabi, Director General of Legal Affairs at the Ministry, who arrived on an inspection visit to the Faculty, during which he was briefed on the new programs in the Faculty with the aim of evaluating, accrediting and issuing their licenses.

The delegation met with the faculty of the college and briefed them on the educational departments that have been developed and introduced in the Faculty.

After that, a special session was held for the heads of departments at the Faculty and the Quality and Accreditation Unit, in which the requirements for accrediting the program of the Department of Sunnah and its Sciences and graduate studies in the Department of Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals were discussed.

The Dean of the Faculty took the Ministry's delegation on an introductory tour to the educational and student buildings and was briefed on the faculty’s future projects.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Heads of Departments, and Director of the Quality and Academic Accreditation Unit at the Faculty, Dr. Saleh Saeed Baawadan.
