Al-Ahgaff University participated in the activities of the international conference: “The International Partnership of Islamic Universities to Reduce Climate Change” under the slogan “International Universities Leaders’ Summit for Climate Action 2022”, which was held from 17 to 19 October, in Kerala, India, represented by the Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation Dr. Ahmed Saleh Kherad.
The Association of the Islamic University, in partnership with the University of the Center for Sunni Culture in India, organized this conference, in the presence of representatives from 40 countries from around the world. Dr. Ahmed Saleh Kherad participated in a research entitled "The Experiences of Al-Ahgaff University and the Islamic Society in Addressing the Effects of Natural Disasters in Yemen" and gave a speech on behalf of Yemeni universities in the conference.
A number of scientific and cultural cooperation agreements were signed between Al-Ahgaff University and the University of the Sunni Culture Center in Kerala, Republic of India, Al-Zaytoonah University in the Republic of Tunisia, Sultan Ahmed University in Pahang, Malaysia, and the College of Da`wah in Libya.
