Al-Ahgaff University in Hadramout concluded on Sunday evening, the activities of the International Conference on Smart Technology and Internet of Everything Systems and Services, which was organized by the university over two days in the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout.
The second and closing day of the conference witnessed the discussion of 23 scientific papers by researchers from different countries in attendance and via live video via the Zoom application. The university honored the best research and winners in each track of the conference, official speakers and other researchers for their active participation in the conference.
In his concluding speech, Professor Abdullah Baharoon, President of the University, thanked all the committees for making available and harnessing all capabilities for the success of the conference, and thanked His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Technical Education and Vocational Training, Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Wasabi, and the Governor of Hadramout, Mr. Mabkhout bin Madhi, for their sponsorship of the conference.
Baharoon praised the research papers presented by the researchers at the conference and the large number of participants from inside and outside the country, stressing that the conference is an addition to what Al-Ahgaff University offers in the service of scientific research and researchers.
The head of the organizing committee of the conference, Dr. Ahmed Sheikh Al-Aidarous, explained that this conference is a continuation of what Al-Ahgaff University offers within its mission to serve researchers.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahgaff University organized this conference in partnership with the American Fordham University, the British company Ritechs, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Yemen branch of IEEE, over two days, December 3 and 4, 2022 in the city of Mukalla, with the participation of more than 80 scientific papers, presented by researchers of both sexes from different countries who presented in person and via live video.
