Al-Ahgaff University researchers won three papers out of six that were honored as the best scientific research at the International Conference on Smart Technology and Internet of Everything Systems and Services in Hadramout, which concluded yesterday evening.
The conference committee, which was organized by the university in partnership with the American Fordham University, the British company Ritechs, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Yemen branch of IEEE, over two days in the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout, selected the best research paper in each track of the conference.
In the track of emerging applications of the Internet of Everything, the research paper presented by Dr. Ahmed Sheikh Al-Aidarous, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science at the university, was honored. As for the track of artificial intelligence and decision-making using Internet of Everything technology, the research paper presented by the researcher Arwa Al-Attas, a postgraduate student in the Information Technology Department at the university was honored, and in the computing track, the research paper submitted by undergraduate students of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, CIS Department, under the supervision of Dr. Hamza Ali Al-Aidarous, Assistant Professor at the Faculty was honored.
It is noteworthy that the academic staff and university students submitted 9 research papers, all of which were accepted.
