On Tuesday morning, the Vice President of Al-Ahgaff University, Prof. Sadiq Omar Maknoon, received in his office His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Sayed Al-Shobaki, a graduate of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, in the presence of the University's legal advisor, Dr. Hashem Alawi Moqaibel.

The Vice President of the University welcomed Dr. Ahmed thanking him for his visit to Al-Ahgaff University after he heard of its scientific fame upon his arrival to Yemen. The vice president of the university referred to the long-standing scientific relationship between Al-Ahgaff University and Al-Azhar University. During his speech, he indicated the role of Al-Azhar scholars who previously participated in the educational and academic process at the university, especially in the Faculty of Sharia and Law in Tarim.

The guest was briefed on the curriculum and study system at the university, its faculties and its scientific library.

His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Sayed Al-Shobaki expressed his admiration and fascination with the university, praising the role that the university plays in serving students of knowledge from various Arab and Islamic countries.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Sayed Al-Shobaki holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Islamic Dawa at Al-Azhar University.
