On Monday, March 6, 2023, Al-Ahgaff University received certificates of participation and winning the gold medal in the Research and Innovation Poster Competition (RIPC) organized by the Malaysian MNNF Network in the middle of last month. The winners were announced on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Al-Ahgaff University team participating in the competition won a gold medal among 174 participating projects from different countries.
With this victory, Professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon, Vice President of Al-Ahgaff University, congratulated the supervisor of the team participating in the competition, Dr. Hamza Al-Aidrous, and members of his team consisting of Abdullah Al-Jufri, Ahmed Al-Kaf, Ahmed Al-Sumahi, and Al-Hassan Abonomay, for obtaining the gold medal, appreciating their efforts in this international competition to raise the name of the university.
Regarding the winning project named (Autism Children Technical System -ACTS), Dr. Hamza Al-Aidrous said that this project aims to develop a system for managing the data of autistic children in autism institutions and schools. It also helps their supervisors and trainers, as well as their parents, in following up and qualifying them, evaluating their performance and activities, and archiving all their information.
