The President of Al-Ahgaff University, Professor Abdullah bin Muhammad Baharoon, received the Indonesian Ambassador to Yemen and Oman, Muhammad Erzan Johan, in the building of the Faculty of Sharia and Law in Tarim, who visited the faculty to see the conditions of students studying at the university of Indonesian nationality.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed many common issues. At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University welcomed the Indonesian Ambassador, thanking him for his visit.
For his part, the Ambassador thanked the President of the University for his good reception and hospitality, expressing his great pride in Al-Ahgaff University, as it was and still is a major destination for Indonesian students who come to it every year to study, where they sensed seriousness, mastery, and interest in students in their educational career, as he touched in his visit the continuous development of the university.
In his speech, the ambassador pointed out that graduate students from Al-Ahgaff University always occupy the first ranks in Indonesia, where they are chosen in the first place among all students to be the guides of Hajj campaigns in the country, which indicates that Al-Ahgaff University has a high standard in teaching and interest in the educational process.
The meeting with the Indonesian ambassador was attended by Ain Al-Rafqi Madani, the Indonesian consul in Amman, Muhaimin Ahmed Yassin, Economic Affairs Officer at the Indonesian Embassy in Oman and Yemen, Muhimin Ahmed Yassin, Economic Affairs Officer at the Indonesian Embassy in Oman, Masjedi, Political Affairs Officer, and Zain Al-Rafiq, Education and Culture Officer at the Embassy.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Abdullah Awadh bin Sumait, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Mr. Zain bin Aqil, Responsible for Expatriate Affairs at the University, Dr. Arafat Al-Maqdi, Head of the Sharia and Law Department, Mr. Muhammad bin Talib, the Legal Adviser at the University, and a number of faculty teachers and staff.
