Professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon, Vice President of Al-Ahgaff University, officially launched the second semester exams for the academic year 2024–2025 on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, across the university’s faculties in the city of Mukalla.

During his inspection tour, accompanied by Professor Ahmed Khured, Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation, Professor Maknoon visited several exam halls. He listened to briefings from deans and invigilators regarding the progress of the examination process, students’ adherence to regulations, and the measures in place to ensure a suitable and smooth examination environment.

The Vice President commended the level of organization and discipline observed during his tour. He emphasized the university’s commitment to providing a conducive atmosphere within the exam halls, including the quality of the exam questions and consideration of various student circumstances. He also wished all students success in their exams.

For their part, the students expressed their gratitude to the university administration for the support and facilities provided, enabling them to take their exams in an atmosphere of motivation and healthy competition.

The launch event was also attended by Mr. Zakaria Badubah, Director of Admissions and Registration, along with a number of faculty members.

It is worth noting that a total of 2,465 students are sitting for the exams this semester.
