The Vice President of the University, Prof. Sadiq Omar Maknoon, accompanied by Dr. Hashim Alawi Moqaibel, the legal advisor and head of the Alumni Affairs Unit at the University, met, in the office of the Vice President of the University, with Mr. Muhammad Hassan Al-Maili, students’ representative of Al-Mahra Governorate to arrange for universities in Hadramout Governorate.

Prof. Sadiq Maknoon welcomed Mr. Al-Maili, thanking him for visitng the university and his choice of Al-Ahgaff University to be a destination for their students from Al-Mahra Governorate.

During the meeting, the guest was introduced to the faculties, majors, departments, and scientific and research centers affiliated with the university, and he talked about the ethnic diversity that exists in the university for students from different countries of the world.

Regarding the importance of the role of the alumni, Dr. Hashim Moqaibel talked about the alumni who assumed prominent positions at home and abroad and contributed to raising the name of the university high.

Mr. Al-Maili thanked the Vice President of the University for the good reception and hospitality, stressing that Al-Ahgaff University enjoys a good reputation in Al-Mahra Governorate, and in the scientific and student circles.

It is noteworthy that the university annually attracts a large group of Yemeni students from various governorates since its establishment.
