They visited the university today, Sunday, May 28, Sheikh Muhammad Zaim, Chairman of the Shura Council of Religious Institutions in Indonesia, with his accompanying delegation. They were received by Habib Alawi bin Abdul Rahman Al-Attas, member of the Board of Trustees, and Mr. Zain Salem bin Aqil, Director of the Expatriate Affairs Office, and Dr. Abdullah Abu Bakr Al-Hamid, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Dr. Samir Salman Subi, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, and Dr. Asfia Rahman Faisal, Director of Ribat Al-Alawiyyah.

The deans of the faculties talked about the goals of the two faculties in the fields of Sharia and Islamic sciences, as they are characterized by a strict system that had a great impact in graduating batches at a high level of influence in Yemen and Indonesia alike.

The delegation toured the halls of the Faculties of Sharia, Law and Islamic Sciences and met Indonesian students studying there.

At the end of the visit, Sheikh Muhammad Zaim expressed his happiness, thanking the university administration for the warm reception.
