On Wednesday, July 26, 2023, the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation at Al-Ahgaff University concluded a workshop entitled (Developing Admission and Registration Procedures at Al-Ahgaff University with Optimum Employment of Technology).
The workshop started its work on Tuesday, in the electronic library, at Al-Ahgaff University Presidency, in the presence of Prof. Sadiq Omar Maknoon, Vice President of the University, and Dr. Ahmed Saleh Khared, Dean of the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation at the University, and in the presence of the General Registration Department and the directors and employees of the admission and registration departments in the university’s faculties.
The workshop, which was moderated and implemented by Dr. Hamza Al-Aidarous, dealt with several axes that focused around the issues and challenges related to student registration procedures from the stage of application and registration in faculties through monthly tests, semester and final exams to graduation and issuance of certificates. The workshop also discussed other axes such as the internal regulations for admission and registration and the electronic portal, and the mechanism of applying the concept of digital transformation in the admission and registration departments of the university faculties.
This workshop came out with recommendations and proposed solutions that seek to develop current procedures and overcome their challenges, with the need to adopt and use technology.
At the end of the workshop, the Vice President of the University thanked the attendees for their active participation and discussions that contributed to the success of the workshop. Prof. Sadiq Maknoon, along with the Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation, distributed certificates to the participants and took commemorative photos with them.
