Dr. Hamza Al-Aidaroos from Al-Ahgaff University, Republic of Yemen, participated on Saturday, 21st October, with a research paper in the Third International Conference for Educational Research. The conference was organized by the Educational Research Laboratory at the College of Human Sciences at Prince Sultan University, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in which 45 scientific papers were presented from various countries of the world via video communication (Zoom). All papers participating in the conference focused on educational innovations and modern technologies that achieve sustainable development for education and research.
In the same context, the scientific paper presented by Dr. Hamza Al-Aidaroos was entitled (Investing the Quality Factors of E-Learning: Towards Developing an Alternative Model), in which he talked about e-learning, its benefits, and the importance of its adoption by educational institutions, pointing out that this type of education has become an inevitable necessity in this technology era. He pointed out that current studies confirm that the current state of e-learning in institutions still lacks quality and innovation. Therefore, this study first sought to explore the quality factors used in previous education models and was then invested in presenting an alternative, modern and developed model that provides quality e-learning. At the conclusion of his speech, Al-Aidaroos recommended that researchers conduct scientific and practical studies in the field of educational quality. He also called for implementing and evaluating the model proposed in this study in order to use it and apply it in reality.
Dr. Hamza Al-Aidaroos has a collection of scientific research published in refereed scientific journals in the field of quality education, e-learning, and blended education. He also participated in many local and international conferences, and his last participation was in the Third International Conference on Social Sciences in Indonesia in mid-July, where he gave a speech - as an official speaker - about strategies for improving the quality of e-learning in universities. It is worth noting that Dr. Hamza Al-Aidaroos was appointed early last month as Dean of the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Science at Al-Ahgaff University, in addition to being responsible for training, qualification and development of the university’s electronic platform for distance education.
