Under the supervision of the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation at Al-Ahgaff University, the English Language Unit held a workshop entitled “Strategies for Teaching Reading and Writing in the English Language” targeting English language trainers in the English Language Unit at the university, which lasted for two days. At the beginning of the workshop, Professor/ Ahmed Saleh Khured, Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation at Al-Ahgaff University welcomed the attendance and praised the role of the workshops and their positive results through the discussions enriched by the attendees, stressing that the Deanship of Quality pays attention to implementing the workshops and developing its teaching staff at the university.

After that, the workshop trainer, Professor Hussein Habtoor, began to provide an overview of the workshop sections, speaking about how to be professionally trained in reading and writing skills for English language students. The workshop concluded with writing the workshop outcomes in order to benefit from them and implement them when training reading and writing skills.

In the end, the Director of the English Language Unit, Mr. Muhammad Al-Buri, thanked the university presidency and the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation for their support and sponsorship of such developmental training workshops. He also thanked the course trainer for facilitating and implementing this workshop.
