Al-Ahgaff University celebrated the anniversary of the Isra and Mi'raj on the evening of the 27th of Rajab in Al-Habib Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman Baharoon Mosque yesterday evening, February 6. The wonderful prophetic hadiths from Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim were read, and they dealt with the miracles of Isra and Mi'raj.

The instructors from Al-Ahgaff University who were present, including several of the professors, then gave some religious lectures. On this honorable occasion, His Eminence, Habib Professor Abdullah bin Muhammad Baharoon, President of Al-Ahgaff University, spoke about the miracles of Isra and Mi'raj, as well as the assertion that we should act on the instructions our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, brought and verify through faith. Prof. Abdullah made it very evident that there are worlds in the cosmos that we are not aware of, and that every atom that has ever been created—be it in the earth, sky, space, seas, rivers, animals, humans, or jinn—has come from Allah's divine power and wisdom.

To understand His wisdom in the signs and miracles that He revealed to His servant, our prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace, and bestow them upon him and designate him for this great honor on this blessed night, the Night of Isra and Mi'raj, we must surrender our thoughts to the one who created him. At the conclusion of his speech, His Eminence Habib Abdullah bin Muhammad Baharoon addressed Allah and prayed to Him on this auspicious night to support our Islamic nation, Muslims, and our brothers and sisters and the Mujahideen in Palestine, and to grant them victory. He also prayed for the benefit and gain of the students of knowledge.
