The Women’s Faculty at Al-Ahgaff University celebrates the graduation of the twenty-fourth batch, “Sayedah Khadija’s batch”

In the city of Mukalla, the Women Faculty at Al-Ahgaff University celebrated the graduation of the female students of the twenty-fourth batch, “Sayedah Khadija’s Batch,” in the presence of the university’s president, Professor Abdullah Muhammad Baharoon.

The honoring ceremony was opened with the recitation of fragrant verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the graduates’ marching, carrying the Palestinian flag, and then a was the graduates’ speech was delivered.

The President of Al-Ahgaff University, Professor Abdullah Muhammad Baharoon, welcomed all attendees at the ceremony honoring the graduates from the Women’s Faculty, urging the graduates to work on what they have learned over the past years in the university’s edifice, and to ensure that Sayedah Khadija, the Lady of the Women of the Worlds, is their role model as she was the first to believe in the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He emphasized the necessity of translating her morals into daily life, especially in this time where suspicions are all around and the Internet has become the teacher.

Professor Baharoon pointed out the importance of thwarting the plans and goals of the nation’s enemies, such as women’s empowerment institutions and international organizations behind which countries seek to corrupt and destroy the family and divide its children. He noted that the task of thwarting these plans is the duty of everyone, including the female graduates who are relied upon to spread correct Islamic awareness among circles of the society.

He added that if foreign countries were sincere in their call for women’s freedom, foreign women would not have converted to Islam more than men, explaining that their entry into Islam is only to find their value that the true religion of Islam has preserved for them, and women cannot find their value in begging for the looks of men, but rather in her mind, morals and dignity, especially the Muslim woman. He expressed his thanks to the fathers and mothers of the graduates for raising their daughters well and for choosing Al-Ahgaff University to help them in this education.

The ceremony included entertainment and nasheed segments, then concluded with the University President honoring the female graduates, in addition to honoring the top students by the Dean of the Faculty, Mrs. Sophia Al-Mohammadi.
