To raise awareness of the value of quality among teaching staff and students, the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation at Al-Ahgaff University arranged a series of awareness lectures during World Quality Week, with the kind support of Professor Abdullah bin Muhammad Baharoon, President of Al-Ahgaff University. In his speech at the week's beginning on Monday morning, November 25, 2024, Professor Ahmed Saleh Khured, Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation at Al-Ahgaff University, welcomed the audience and expressed the university's desire to meet the highest standards of quality and academic accreditation for its programs.
Furthermore, the inaugural lecture of Quality Week was delivered by Dr. Hamza Al-Aidaroos, Vice Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation, with the topic "Quality Concepts in University Education and the Role of Students in Applying Them." Third-year students from the faculties of management and economics as well as computer sciences and engineering were the focus of the talk. Additionally, it sought to familiarize students with the ideas of quality and its significance in higher education. Clarifying their role in implementing these ideas to enhance the educational process, promote the institution, and secure academic accreditation for its programs was another goal. Following the lecture, a conversation was held during which students asked questions and received answers.
Mr. Ahmed Bahumaid, Quality Representative at the Faculty of Management and Economics, and Mr. Omar Bahakam, Quality Representative at the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Engineering, attended the lecture.
