On Monday morning, October 28, 2024, a workshop was held to complete the preparation of the strategic plan for Al-Ahgaff University in the postgraduate studies hall in the university presidency building. It lasted about five hours in the presence of Professor Sadiq Maknoon, Vice President of the University, and Eng. Faiz bin Shamla, Secretary-General of the University. The attendees discussed the outcomes of the previous workshop to prepare the strategic plan and its vision aimed at advancing Al-Ahgaff University, improving the quality of academic education, creating an appropriate educational environment for students, and serving the community.

During the workshop, a mechanism was developed to implement the operational plan for the strategic plan, which is divided into two stages, the first stage 2025-2027, the second stage 2028-2030. The plan was prepared by the workshop facilitator, Dr. Salem Ahmed Bawadi.

At the end of the workshop, a committee was formed to review and finalize the strategy. It consists of: Professor Sadiq Maknoon, Vice President of the University, Engineer Faiz Bin Shamla, Secretary General of the University, Professor Ahmed Khured, Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation, Dr. Hamza Al-Eidaroos, Deputy Dean of Quality, Mr. Alawi Al-Eidaroos, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, and Dr. Hashem Muqaibel, Legal Advisor and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sharia and Law.
