Vice President of Al-Ahgaff University, Professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon, received in his office on Saturday morning, November 16, Professor Yahya Jamzuri, Director of Al-Bahja Islamic University in the Republic of Indonesia.
The university's vice president, Professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon, welcomed Professor Yahya Jamzuri and expressed gratitude for his visit at the start of the meetng. Professor Jamzuri, for his part, provided a thorough description of the groundbreaking role that Al-Bahja University played, the university's impact on Indonesian culture, particularly in the areas of preaching and guidance, and its sound scientific approach to receiving.
Having studied at Al-Ahgaff University and benefited from its academic and scientific approach, Professor Yahya Jamzuri lauded the university's role in academic education and the influence of its graduates in other Arab and Islamic countries. It is important to note that Professor Yahya Jamzuri, who currently directs Al-Bahja University and its affiliated institutions, is a graduate of Al-Ahgaff University's second batch of Sharia and Law graduates. He has visited Al-Ahgaff University numerous times.
During the meeting, Al-Ahgaff University and Al-Bahja Islamic University in the Republic of Indonesia signed a memorandum of understanding that included expanding their relationship and exchanging scientific skills.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Zain Salem bin Aqeel, Dean of the College of Distance Education and Director of the Expatriates Office at the University, Dr. Hashem Alawi Muqaibel, Legal Advisor, Director of the Legal Affairs Office and Director of the Alumni Unit at the University, Mr. Muhammad Salih bin Sheikh Abu Bakr, Legal Advisor and Director of the University President's Office, Dr. Abdullah Al-Hamid, Deputy Dean of the College of Sharia and Law, Dr. Asfia Al-Rahman, and Mr. Muhammad Ahmed Al-Batati.
