On Tuesday morning, November 26, 2024, the Open Market activity was initiated by the Secretary-General, Eng. Faiz bin Shamla. The Faculty of Women's Activity Committee planned the reception, which was attended by the faculty members and the Deanship of the Faculty of Women. Eng. Faiz bin Shamla gained knowledge of the various facets of the open market and the various cultures of the Arab and Islamic peoples (African and Asian) during the event's inauguration.

According to Eng. Bin Shamla's speech, Al-Ahgaff University prioritizes community-serving initiatives that enable women to develop distinctive marketing and creative opportunities, as well as showcasing professional creativity in sewing, embroidery, drawing, and other disciplines.

The corners of the event included Arab, Indonesian, African and other foods, old embroidered traditional clothes and handicrafts that reflect the culture of societies and the historical depth of each country.

Beautiful realistic artworks that depict the living conditions of both individuals and society were also displayed at the event. While many women and children attended the event, everyone admired the exhibitions that the corners gave.

At the conclusion of the launch, Al-Ahgaff University Secretary General Eng. Faiz bin Shamla thanked the Deanship of the Faculty of Women for organizing this successful event and encouraged everyone to take advantage of these opportunities to showcase student creativity and invest in their national heritage for fame and recognition.

The event was also attended by a number of stores, including Umm Salem Snacks Store, Al Saad and Al Barakah Store, Risha Store, Ghost Store, Delicious Foods, Al Reem Store, Yasso Store, Suwar Store, Umm Khalid Clothing Store, Ellen Design Store, Fakhamat Fan Bag Making Store, Sabreen Pastry Store, and Matcha Store.

The launch event was attended by Professor Ahmed Khured, Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation at the University, Professor Hussein Sheikh bin Sheikh Abu Bakr, teaching staff member at the Faculty of Women, Dr. Samir Muhammad Subai, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Hamza Al-Eidaroos, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Mr. Zain Salem bin Aqeel, Director of the Expatriates Affairs Office, Advisor Dr. Hashem Alawi Muqaibel, Head of the Graduates Unit at the University, Mr. Muhammad Saleh bin Sheikh Abu Bakr, Director of the University President's Office, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Bouri, Director of Activities at the University.
