Mukalla - December 4 - Al-Ahgaff University Media

Al-Ahgaff University's Faculty of Women and the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Engineering arranged a field trip to Sonod Business Solutions and Information Technology Company for fourth-level information technology students on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The purpose of this tour is to familiarize students with the job market, its requirements, software project development processes, implementation mechanisms, and exporting processes for usage. The tour also sought to close the gap between what businesses do in the business world and what university students learn in the theoretical component.

During the visit, the students learnt about the company's departments, most notable projects, and services in addition to hearing a thorough description of the nature of work there. Employees of Sonod Company answered all of the students' inquiries regarding the practical application throughout the visit.

At the conclusion of the visit, the students expressed their gratitude to the management of Sonod Company, as represented by its director, Engineer Rashad Balfaqih, and all of its staff for their cordial welcome, and for acquainting them with the workings of software firms, and for their cooperation and responses to their questions. Ms. Susan Atiq, Head of the Information Technology Department at the Faculty of Women, and Mr. Hussein Balfaqih, a member of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Engineering, accompanied the students on this visit.
