Al-Ahgaff University signs a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in Somalia

Al-Ahgaff University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the Republic of Somalia within the framework of the university's plans and external relations.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding came on the sidelines of the visit of the university delegation to Somalia headed by Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Al-Batati, a faculty member at the university and former Dean of the Faculty of Women, and Mr. Hamza Abdullah Baharoon, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, and their meeting with a number of academic and religious figures in Somali universities and institutes, and with graduates of Al-Ahgaff University.
Al-Ahgaff University will train imams and mosque preachers in public speaking and delivery, as well as work to improve scientific and behavioral efficiency and scientific methods to teach people about the affairs of their religion and their world, according to the memorandum of understanding, which was signed by His Excellency Sharif Saleh Sharif Al-Jilani, Somalia's Deputy Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
Given that numerous Somali students have attended Al-Ahgaff University since its inception, this memorandum falls inside the scope of the university's cooperative connections with Somali religious institutions and establishments.
Together with the Deputy Minister of Endowments, the Minister of State, and the Director General of Endowments, the Al-Ahgaff University delegation visited the Ministry's new building and gained knowledge about its departments, most notable initiatives, and upcoming plans. Upon the conclusion of the visit, Somali officials wished the university continued success and positive development in the upcoming years and conveyed the greetings of the Al-Ahgaff University delegation to the university's leadership, represented by Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Baharoon and his deputies, faculty members, and university affiliates.
