On Sunday, January 2, the Council of the Faculty of Graduate Studies at Al-Ahgaff University in Mukalla had its first regular meeting of the month of January 2025 to address several significant issues.

The Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies at Al-Ahgaff University, Professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon, welcomed all members of the Council, reviewing the agenda and the Council's plan for the new year 2025 and what was accomplished last year.

A variety of themes relevant to the Council's work were discussed by the attendees, such as accepting and ratifying master's thesis titles, assigning supervisors, assisting students in beginning their theses, and resolving challenges and barriers faced by researchers. The discussion produced several suggestions and ideas that would advance the Council's work in the following phase.
