Director of the Center for Renewable Energy Studies and Research at Hadhramaut University Visits Hadhramaut Research Center at Al-Ahgaff University

On Monday, Professor Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Bara’adi, Director of the Center for Renewable Energy Studies and Research at Hadhramaut University, paid an official visit to the Hadhramaut Research Center at Al-Ahgaff University. He was received by Professor Sadeq Omar Maknoon, Vice President of Al-Ahgaff University and Executive Director of the Research Center.

The visit included discussions on avenues of collaboration between the two research centers and strategies for strengthening their partnership in ways that support mutual academic and scientific goals. The meeting also addressed the growing momentum of renewable energy technologies across the Arab world, including Yemen, as well as the increasing reliance on such solutions due to the ongoing electricity crisis and the absence of effective alternatives.

Professor Maknoon expressed his appreciation for the visit and commended the efforts of Dr. Bara’adi in advancing the work of the Renewable Energy Studies and Research Center at Hadhramaut University and enhancing its role in contributing to sustainable development.

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Bara’adi presented three copies of his book titled "Solar and Renewable Energy: Theory and Application – The Sun and the Calculation of Its Thermal Energy" as a gift to the libraries of Al-Ahgaff University and the Hadhramaut Research Center, noting that the donation serves as a contribution to the academic resources of the institution and a step towards ongoing scholarly cooperation.
