Al-Ahgaff University Graduate Affairs Unit Hosts Annual Alumni Meeting

In a continued effort to strengthen ties with its graduates and support their professional advancement post-graduation, Al-Ahgaff University’s Graduate Affairs Unit organized the annual meeting for graduates from the university's various faculties in Mukalla.
The event commenced with an opening address by Professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon, Vice President of the University, who expressed pride in the dedication and achievements of the students throughout their academic journey, culminating in this pivotal milestone.
In his remarks, the Vice President emphasized the importance of serious preparation for the post-graduation phase and active engagement in the labor market. He encouraged graduates to enhance their skills through training programs that not only expand their knowledge but also align with contemporary market demands. He further highlighted that affiliation with Al-Ahgaff University remains an enduring identity that graduates carry with them, symbolizing a lasting bond between the alumnus and their alma mater.
Dr. Hashim Alwi Muqaibel, Head of the Graduate Affairs Unit and Legal Advisor to the University, delivered a speech underscoring the strategic role of the unit in managing alumni affairs and providing a range of services to students before and after graduation. He noted the unit’s commitment to strengthening communication networks with graduates not only locally but also across the Horn of Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, and other regions, reflecting the university’s recognition of its global alumni presence.
The meeting was attended by several faculty members, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and mutual respect as the university community looks forward to the promising futures of its distinguished graduates.
