President of Al-Ahgaff University Receives the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Yemen

The President of Al-Ahgaff University, Professor Abdullah Mohammed Baharoon, received His Excellency Mohammed Arzan Johan, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Yemen, and his accompanying delegation on Saturday during their visit to the city of Mukalla to review the conditions of Indonesian students studying at the university.

Professor Baharoon welcomed the visit, which reflects the depth of relations between the Yemeni and Indonesian peoples. He also highlighted the university’s academic programs and the services provided to students in the Faculties of Sharia and Law, Islamic Sciences, and the Arabic Language Centre.

For his part, the Indonesian Ambassador praised the distinguished academic level at Al-Ahgaff University, noting that many of its graduates today hold significant positions in Indonesia. He affirmed the embassy’s keenness to enhance academic cooperation between the two sides.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Professor Baharoon presented the Ambassador with the University Shield.

The meeting was attended by the University’s Secretary-General, Engineer Faiz Ahmed Bin Shamla; Vice Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Mr. Hamzah Abdullah Baharoon; and the embassy’s representatives in Mukalla, Mahrous Hashem Rahmat and Mohammed Zain Al-Abidin.
