The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madhi, paid a visit on Thursday to the distinguished academic and social figure, Professor Abdullah Mohammed Baharoon, President of Al-Ahgaff University.

During the visit to his residence, attended by the University’s Vice President Dr. Sadiq Omar Maknoon, Governor bin Madhi engaged in a cordial conversation with Professor Baharoon about general affairs and reviewed the progress of work and ongoing activities at Al-Ahgaff University as a leading academic institution in the region.

Governor bin Madhi expressed his appreciation for the notable and multifaceted contributions of Professor Baharoon, praising his academic and scholarly achievements, his influential social role, and his dedicated efforts in raising public awareness, enlightening the community, and fostering unity through strengthening fraternal relations.

He affirmed that the local authority places great value on leaders of knowledge and thought, highlighting the important role of the President and faculty members of Al-Ahgaff University in advancing the academic environment and enhancing the quality of higher education.

For his part, Professor Abdullah Baharoon expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation for the Governor’s visit, which he described as a reflection of the Governorate leadership’s commitment to its distinguished figures. He wished the Governor success in fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Hadhramaut.
