Al-Ahgaff University received on Sunday Sheikh Rushdi Rusli Tullamak, Founder of the Insan Madani Institute in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan Province, Republic of Indonesia, as part of efforts to strengthen academic and cultural relations between the university and Indonesian educational institutions.
He was welcomed by Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Hamid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sharia, who greeted him warmly and accompanied him on a tour of the faculty’s classrooms. During the visit, Sheikh Tullamak was briefed on the academic environment, the progress of the educational process, and the interactive teaching methods used to enhance engagement between professors and students, particularly Indonesian students studying at the university.
The visit also included a tour to the Office of International Students Affairs, the Hadhramout Research Center, the University Library, and several academic departments, where Sheikh Tullamak learned about the services and facilities provided to international—especially Indonesian—students.
At the conclusion of the visit, Sheikh Rushdi Tullamak expressed his deep appreciation to Al-Ahgaff University for its academic excellence and its care for international students. He praised the high standards of education and research at the university and affirmed the Insan Madani Institute’s keenness to strengthen cooperation and partnership in ways that serve knowledge and its seekers.
The meeting was attended by a number of faculty members and university staff.
