The Vice President of Al-Ahgaff University and Chair of the Preparatory Committee for the Second International Scientific Conference, Professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon, reviewed on Tuesday the ongoing preparations for the upcoming conference organized by the Hadhramout Research Center at Al-Ahgaff University, titled:
“Hadhramis in East Africa: Integration and Preservation of Identity,” scheduled to take place at the end of this month.

During the meeting, Professor Maknoon listened to committee members as they presented updates on the progress made in their respective assigned tasks, along with detailed reports on what has been accomplished in the scientific, organizational, logistical, and media-related aspects of the conference.

The meeting emphasized the importance of continuing to work as a unified team to ensure the successful delivery of a conference worthy of the significance of its theme and befitting the stature of Al-Ahgaff University and the Hadhramout Research Center.

The meeting concluded with several recommendations aimed at strengthening preparedness—most notably intensifying efforts in the coming period and working diligently to complete all arrangements ahead of schedule, including finalizing research submissions, organizing conference sessions, preparing the venues, and completing accompanying media materials.
