The Preparatory Committee for the Second International Scientific Conference, organized by the Hadhramout Research Center at Al-Ahgaff University, held a meeting on Wednesday chaired by Professor Sadiq Omar Maknoon, Head of the Committee, to review the latest developments related to the conference preparations and assess progress on the tasks assigned to committee members.

During the meeting, the committee discussed progress across various organizational and technical aspects, including the reception and evaluation of scientific abstracts submitted for participation. The committee reviewed the abstracts in preparation for their approval based on standards of quality and their relevance to the conference themes.

Professor Maknoon emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts in the coming period and adhering strictly to the established timeline to ensure the conference is held in a distinguished manner that reflects the leading role of the Hadhramout Research Center in advancing scientific research and academic activities.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue holding regular sessions to follow up on preparations and ensure full readiness ahead of the conference.
